Well hi. To get to know me in a quick minute, I was born & raised in Mesa, Arizona. I grew up in a swimming pool being a nationally recognized synchronized swimmer from age 8-18, which lead me to live in Riverside, California for a year of high school. I picked up a camera in my teens & completely fell in love with black and white photography and 35mm film processing (was a yearbook geek* if you know you know & not only took one photo class in highschool - but also would also aid for our photo teacher so I could spend more time in the dark room). I graduated college from FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising Downtown Los Angeles Campus) with a degree in Graphic Design & the rest is history.

I know there are lots and lots of 'husband and wife' photography teams out there today. First off, that is not the case with us. Haha yes we have been together for ten years, yes we have been married for five, but you're getting something a little more special than that when you book us. We're HYBRID photographers - meaning we shoot both digital hi-res photos as well as analog 35mm & 120mm film. This is what sets most of my work apart from other photographers.

I am a full time photographer shooting everything from family, boudoir, food & cocktail, seniors, headshots & weddings. I started second shooting weddings at age 20 and here we are ten years later, wow! I have seen A LOT. At 25 I started freelancing full time and owning my photography company shooting around 20 weddings a year. I've been published in June Bug Weddings Best of Photographers, The Knot, Brides, Martha Stewart Weddings, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Food and Wine, White Magazine, Bloomberg, Playboy & GQ.

Now, my second shooter at all my weddings is my husband, Mr. Tanner Hoss. He is a full time Real Estate Appraiser, Real Estate Broker & Real Estate Agent. You could also say he is a cartoonist, painter & poet. But on weekends he picks up one of our twenty cameras for me and comes along for what we call 'Katie's Wild Ride'. He is an amazing photographer & gives the day ease - he keeps the groom calm and captures the guys getting ready - while I am with the bride and girls simultaneously.

Your getting art when you book us. We both bleed it. Passed down from both our grandparents. There is so much of the same out there today, is what I notice most while scrolling. We're giving you that bold color, those golden hour tones, vintage and clean vibes. We focus on the candid, the perfect posed family digital photos & the cool vintage double exposed 35mm analog film romantic photos. We're here to poses comfort & quality on your biggest day.

We just moved! We bought our first home in the beautiful sunny colorful PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA. Me & Tanner have now been married 5 years and our two pitbulls, Dilly & Bean (check out their hashtag on instagram, they are the cutest #dillyandbean) are both 10 year old grandma doggies.

Stand by this year we are working on MORE ART. Planing our next art show as well as finally opening Hoss Prints! So you can buy all the pretty things!
